Pip Hall has found solace in being the underdog. Each of her brilliantly under-stated dark-pop tracks offer a scrapbook-like glimpse into the awkwardness of teenage love, of being poor and bored and uncomfortable in your own skin; all tinged with sepia synths and Hall’s gorgeous vocal.

On ‘My Eden’ she details the process of “breaking away from a toxic relationship and finding peace in solitude and nature.” With it’s laidback beat, wavy synth lines and Hall’s signature crunchy, yet loose guitars, this track is a quietly optimistic tribute to the healing powers of nature and how we could all do with finding our own eden.
